Arc Bag - Crochet Pattern
The Arc Bag is crocheted in the round in interlocking woven stitch, working from the base up. The interlocking rows make it a great stitch to experiment with striping colours, creating really interesting colourwork.
We have made the Arc Bag in one colour (grey), a version striping two colours (green and white), and a version striping 3 colours (brown, yellow and turquoise). The pattern includes instructions for all three. We have also tried a variety of handle lengths as shown in the pictures.
With step-by-step, easy-to-follow instructions this pattern uses the following techniques: Magic loop, chain stitch, single crochet, slip stitch, increasing, whip stitch. All crochet terminology is US.
