With step-by-step, easy-to-follow instructions, this pattern uses the following techniques: chain stitch, double crochet stitch, spike double crochet, half double crochet and single crochet edging. All crochet terminology is US.

Size: One size, 145cm/57'' x 16.5cm/6½''

 

Yarn: Aran/worsted weight yarn in 3 colours. You will need approx 90g/135m of colour A and 70g/105m of colours B and C. 

 

This is also a great project to use up any ends or half-balls of yarn left over from past projects. You won't get a 3 colour pattern but you can work 1 row in each different yarn/colour (see last pictures). You will need approx 240g/345m of scraps.

 

Suggested Hook Size:  6.5mm Crochet Hook
