Echo Scarf - Knitting Pattern

€5.50Price
  • Knitted in an all-over three colour slip stitch, the Echo Scarf is a vibrant winter accessory using a mix of yarn weights. The stitch is much easier than it looks and creates a beautiful three colour pattern as you work.

With step-by-step, easy-to-follow instructions, this pattern uses the following techniques: Long tail cast on, slip stitch, knit, purl, cast off.

    Skill Level: Easy

    Size: One size - 24cm/9½'' x 165cm/65''

Yarn: We have used 1 DK weight yarn (colour A), 1 Aran weight yarn (colour B), and 1 Fingering weight yarn (colour C):

    Colour A - Purple

2 balls of CaMaRose Økologisk Hverdagsuld, Mørk Lilla 41 - 100% organic wool. (150m/164yds per 50g ball.)

Alternatives: Drops Karisma. BC Garn Semilla.

    Colour B - White

3 balls of Lana Grossa Bingo, 005 - 100% Merino Wool. (80m/87yds per 50g ball.)

Alternatives: Drops Big Merino. Lang Yarns Merino +.

    Colour C - Blue
2 balls of Lana Grossa Cool Wool, 2103 - 100% Merino Wool. (160m/175yds per 50g ball.)

Alternatives: Drops Baby Merino. Lang Yarns Merino 150.

This is also a great project to use up any ends or half balls of yarn left over from past projects. If you keep colours A + B but substitute colour C for scraps, it makes for a really interesting colour change look.
