Sustainability
Materials
We source 100% natural yarn when buying new materials or we source secondhand and deadstock yarn. All our alpaca and wool yarns are mulesing-free. Like most knitters, we have a stash of leftover oddballs of yarn from past projects, which we use to make new products for our ready to ship collection. Whilst we prefer working with natural materials in our knitwear collection, our knitting patterns use standard weights of yarn, so the choice is yours.

Production
We encourage you to make your own clothes, no matter what level you are! If knitting isn't for you, our hand knitted pieces are made in very small quantities, or as one-off pieces. The making of each item involves just Alice hand knitting or crocheting each item, row by row.

Care
Our collection is made to last, we would love all our customers to keep and care for their knitwear. See garment care to find out more. If you are thinking of getting rid of a piece we made, please contact us, we would love to re-use the materials!

Packaging
All our mail sacks are reusable, recyclable, and biodegradable. Any invoice or postcard you receive are printed locally with organic inks on recycled paper.

Charity
5% of all our profits go to Shout 85258: a free, confidential, 24/7 text-messaging support service for anyone in crisis. The money goes to training superhero volunteers who every week change people's lives. Find out more about their important work here.
